Fascinating stuff... Guide to Gunge

I'm not just plugging this because it's on Gunge Central, either... I am really enjoying reading through this new section of the site.

Especially fascinating is the "What is Gunge?" section, which examines the whole psychology of what makes us gunge fans:

Interest in wam runs from prurient to innocent: Some people like nudity and sex, as in naked (or at least bikini-clad) girls or guys wrestling in mud, a couple fucking in spaghetti, raunchy lesbian pie videos, or underwater sex. Other people are only interested in "fully-clothed wam" which almost always means business suits, formal dresses, gowns, and the like, or at least jeans and t-shirts. Many are actually turned off when wam is mixed with nudity as they solely enjoy the primordial, care-free feeling that playing in mess or water brings about.But clothing vs. nudity does not always line up respectively with innocent vs. prurient. Some people find fully-clothed wam a turn-on in itself, most likely due to its ties with the humiliation and ruined clothes fetishes. On the flip side, some find nude wam innocent: There are professional photographers who photograph models as mud statues or colourful paint-covered art--sort of an expression of primordial, natural beauty.

I have to admit I'm in the fully-clothed camp generally, and also the thought of combining sex with gunge doesn not appeal all that much. But it's just fascinating to think that within the huge army of gunge fans, there's such a wide range different views and turn-ons! It's always quite liberating to find someone online to chat to who shares the gunge passion... and I guess now I'm starting to see how it's equally liberating to see how the appeal of gunge is unlikely to be the same in any two people.

Speaking of models covered in paint...

Can't really show any more, since the aim is eventually to get pix from the shoot online, possibly under the Splatography section. But I had great time being covered in paint and lots of other things on the day of the shoot!
